Bunny Fred was known for being a mischievous kid. He had a knack for humor, always ready with a joke, though they were often in poor taste.

One day, Fred decided to play a trick on an old beaver. He dug a hole, covered it with branches, and hid behind a tree, calling out, "Help me! Please help!"

An old beaver, passing by, heard the cries and rushed to assist. However, he fell right into the hole Fred had dug. Fred leaped with glee.

"Why are you laughing?" the beaver asked, irritated. "Do you think it's funny that I fell into this hole?"

"Isn't it?" Fred replied. "How do you like my joke?"

"This is a very bad joke!" the beaver responded.

On another occasion, Fred ran to a bear, claiming a squirrel had fallen into the river while jumping from branch to branch. The bear dashed to the river, only to find no squirrel. Fred, catching up, asked, "How do you like my joke?"

"The joke?!" the bear growled. "This is a very bad joke!"

And so it went every time. Fred couldn't understand why no one found his jokes amusing. He thought they were hilarious.

Then, one day, Fred found himself in real trouble. While wandering through the woods, someone suddenly emerged from behind a tree and stopped him. Do you know who it was? A wolf!

"It's good I found you," the wolf said.

"Why?" Fred asked nervously.

"I'm so hungry. Would you like to join me?" the wolf replied.

"How?" Fred asked.

"As my lunch!" the wolf answered, lunging at Fred. The little bunny fled, calling for help, but no one came. The forest animals no longer trusted him. The wolf caught up with Fred and ate him.
